Obsidiansの建築

SotAの前史小説"Blade of the Avatar"ではObsidiansという勢力が登場するのですが、今回その勢力の建築物のスタイルを再現した3Dゲームアセットが披露されました。
この勢力はSotA本編の時代から遡って、200年の間ニューブリタニアを席巻していたとされています。The Tower of the Shuttered Eyeのように、依然としてその名残が見られる場所も存在します。
黒を基調とした陰気な雰囲気を持ったこのスタイルは、建築物ではなくObsidians達全般に渡って採用されています。
このスクリーンショットは、外壁や門、塔の部分のものです。この他一部が崩壊しているパーツもあります。
次のスクリーンショットは仮組としてTower of the Shuttered Eyeのシーンに設置してみた時のものです。外壁に備え付けられている塔は、下部のドアから中に入りハシゴを上ることでアクセスすることができます。
塔の上からは3つ又に分かれたルートにアクセスできます。塔の上の床には開き戸がついているほか、円座も備え付けてあります。この部分は階段状になっていたり、オブジェクトを置いたりすることができます。また、大きな座椅子やオベリスクのような大きな物も設置することができるでしょう。
大型クリーチャー: Trolls
ロードマップにあるとおり、最初の大型クリーチャーとしてTrollが実装されます。

"理想的"な条件を備えた人材は以下のような方だそうです
- 2年以上の基本的なゲーム業界での経験があること（できれば市場に実際に出たゲーム開発にかかわっていること）
- Unity3Dに熟達していること
- スクリプトを組めること
- 建築物を作ったり、テクスチャーを張ったり、屋内・屋外のマップの作成経験をもっていること
- 細かさが行き届き、かつ面白いレベルデザインができること
また、ビジュアルエフェクトができる人材も募集中です
- 最低でも3年以上VFXの作成の経験があること
- Unity3Dに熟達していること
- FXのスクリプトとFXのシェーダーを作る技術があること
- 芸術と技術を兼ね備えたエフェクトをつくる才能をもっていること

- The tavern door opens before you, and the scent of pipe and stew waft outwards with a wall of warmth from the hearth. Join in with the patrons of the Bear Tavern as they share tales of their adventures amid endless mugs of ale, legs of mutton, and merriment unbounded (details)!
- Happy Hour Wednesdays (Wednesdays, 8pm CST)

出資特典アイテム・有料アドオンの扱いについて
現在、出資特典のインゲームアイテムやアドオンストアで購入したアイテム類はアカウントと関連づけられ、プレイヤーはそれらのアイテムを銀行から引き出して使用することができるようになっています（一部の特典は未実装）。銀行は各街で独立しており、ある銀行に預けた荷物を別の銀行で引き出すことはできなくなっています。
出資特典のアイテムは特別にどの銀行でも引き出すことができますが、一度引き出してしまうと後は通常のアイテムと同様の扱いになり、預けた銀行でしか引き出すことができません。
また、キャラクターを削除してしまうと、キャラクターが装備しているアイテムやインベントリにあるアイテムは消滅してしまいます。
これは出資特典のアイテムであっても同様で、もし消失してしまうと次回のデータワイプまでそのアイテムを使用することができません。
ストアクレジットのコンバート機能について
公式アドオンストアで購入したアイテムはゲームにログインした時点で自動的にアクティベートされ、銀行内に出現します。よって、アカウント内のアドオンはロック状態となり、一時的にクレジットに返還することができなくなります。
次回のリリースでは、銀行から引き出す時にどのアドオンをアクティベートするか選択できるようにする予定です。
また、リリーステスト中に購入したアドオンは、次回のログイン時に自動的に銀行のバンクボックスに出現します。
SteamクライアントからもSotAがプレイ可能に
昨年の11月24日からSotAはSteam対応タイトルになりました。
"Guilty Pledge"を除く、すべての出資者はSteam経由でもSotAがプレイ可能になり、Steamのコミュニティハブ機能やSteamトレーディングカードのコンテンツを利用することができます。

分割払いプランのキャンセル方法について
SotAの出資枠購入には、一括払いのほかに毎月一定額を支払う分割プランがあります。
当初は2015年2月に分割払いの支払い期限が設定されていましたが、現在はさらに延長されています。
しかし、支払いプランをユーザーが手動でキャンセルしない限り、自動的に毎月の設定額を支払い続けてしまう仕様になっているので、分割払いを選択しているユーザーは必ずプランの再設定をしてください。
また、分割プランを選択しているユーザーは、総支払い額が購入出資枠の額を超えるまでゲーム中の出資特典を利用することができません。
現在のステータスを確認するにはアカウントページへ移動し、詳細を確認してください。
